The Fox & the grapes

Updated: Oct 28, 2019

A hungry fox hid in a vineyard, where ripe, juicy grapes were hanging much higher. In his attempt to win the luscious award, the fox leapt and sprang several times, but was unsuccessful in all his attempts. When he finally had to give up, he backed down and smiled to himself, "Well, what does it matter? The grapes are sour!"

Old Learning:

It is easy to despise what you cannot get.

New Take:

It is wise to accept defeat sometimes so that there is enough energy to try a new thing or find a new fruit. Also, it is beneficial to find low hanging fruits rather than running for unreachable goals.
